Children's Church
Each week, a Sunday morning worship service is held for children aged 3 years through those in the 6th grade. The children gather after Sunday School in the sanctuary for the congregational and praise music with the entire church. After that they meet in the fellowship hall for bible teaching, games, snacks, and fellowship. Adult leaders conduct and oversee all children church activities. Safety and security of the children are of utmost importance at Havana First Baptist Church.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is an annual weeklong event for the children of the community at the church. This year's dates are July 10th through the 15th.  The kids sing fun songs, make arts and crafts, play kickball and wiffle ball outside, and learn about God's love. All children between 3 years of age and 6th grade are welcome. An online registration form is available as an option. If you are interested in attending or helping with VBS, please contact Mary Willard at (479) 495-0998. Also contact her if you are in a situation where you cannot bring your children and need a ride on the church van.

Children's/Youth Church Camp

Each summer Havana First Baptist Church attends and participates in a Children's and Youth church camps. This year will be a combined camp for children and youth and will be held at Arkansas Baptist Assembly near Siloam Springs, Arkansas.  Dates for this year are June 13th - 17th! Campers will leave the church Monday and return Friday. Campers who are at least 3rd grade age through those that have completed the 12th grade may attend. Campers are supervised by both male and female church leaders. Camp involves bible teaching, worship, recreation, quiet devotion time, and other fellowship. Campers stay in separate boys and girls dormitories and enjoy good, wholesome meals. Church camp provides an excellent opportunity for school-aged children to develop a relationship with God as well as with new friends. Fall's Creek Church Camp
When available, our church takes a group of teenagers on a week-long trip to Falls Creek Church Camp in Davis, Oklahoma. . Falls Creek is a large camp that hosts several thousand campers each week of the summer. It has a large auditorium, a prayer garden, and numerous break-out sessions for interested campers. Recreational activities include rope climbing courses, swimming, zip-lining, table tennis, volleyball, a 5k run, and many others. A focus is placed on intragroup interaction; male and female students stay in separate rooms of the same cabin with their sponsors and have meals and devotions together in a common area. For more information about the facilities, activities, and the upcoming year's theme, visit skopos.org/fallscreek.
